okay my mother told me i could change my bedroom theme, i was thinking that i want a victorian girly princess style room…so here is my questions
1.)where can i get cheaper victorian style furniture
2.)is there a different theme you can think of
3.)where can i find decent beddin
i’m only 14 so don’t show me stuff for 5 year olds please
For a Victorian girly look you have many options for furnishings..Ikea has a few pieces that can be used..kind of a modern victorian look..the pieces have the curvey legs…or..you can start looking in your local flea markets/used furniture shops for secondhand pieces..you can paint them an off white for your room to keep it light and fresh looking…lighting can be a chandelier for your ceiling..changing shade or sewing form with a vintage dress on it would be great looking.
Here are just a few ideas you can think about..they are newer takes on the Victorian style. Victorian is wood furnishings, gold trims almost dark…newer takes on this is off white or white furnishings, lots of glitter/sparkle, but can be done in chrome instead of the gold trim everywhere..this is such a great theme, and can be as girly as you like just by adding more soft flowing materials either on a manniquin form or with a scarf…etc..
